Day-one Devlog


I needed to take this game out of my chest, so I am releasing “Of Goblins and Orkz” in this alpha version.

This version was made in a week during my spare time, and it contains all the main storyline, every story path will be reachable, and no bug should be around. The game’s focus was to make a short story with multiple endings, which is the goal of this alpha, along with submitting the game soon enough to meet the Bitsy Goblin jam.

What I already know is that I need to make more for making the game more enjoyable, so I’m going to add a little more to this game in the future, but without the deadline of the jam over my head. My roadmap is:

  • Correct formatting of all the finales
  • Double-check that all the possible story paths are reachable with no bug.
  • Add to all the finales’ text, which elements of the story bring you to that finale, so you can play around - with combinations more easily and find the other finales easier.
  • Take care of the backgrounds, so they are not empty.
  • Probably add a finale or two. Thank you for playing and reading me. I hope you enjoyed the game even today.

P.S. Well, it seems like day one devlogs are a thing for me. Sooner or later, I will be releasing bitsy game day one patch! >.<”
